My name is Geoff Lightsey and I am the pastor at First Methodist Church of Palestine. I have been a licensed pastor for 13 years. I received a Practical Theology Degree from Christ For The Nations Institute, a Bachelors in Psychology from LeTourneau University, and a Masters of Divinity Degree from Brite Divinity School (don’t hold that against me).

I love learning new things and miss those classroom discussions. Going back to school would be an option, but I prefer the practicality of real life. I also want to open those classroom discussions to others who would enjoy them as well.

My prayer is that The Berean Exchange helps believers think well, walk faithfully, engage the world with both courage and wisdom, and join with others along the way.
